Syracuse Dentist Returns from Family Reunion in Cape Cod

Just as patients are taking their summer vacations, Dr. Laura took a short break to spend time with her family and prepare for her upcoming busy schedule. Dr. Laura said her entire family attended the reunion, including her three brothers and their children and grandchildren.

“I had a great break and am renewed and refreshed and ready to serve my patients,” Dr. Laura said. “It’s a treat to see the family together and having a great time.”

Dr. Laura, who owns Eastwood Dental Office, provides family and cosmetic dentistry under one roof. She works with children and adults to maintain a healthy mouth and keep their teeth healthy for a lifetime.

Since returning from her reunion, Dr. Laura said she has focused on treating families and children who are getting ready to start the school year. She has taken extensive courses to treat patients of all ages and in all aspects of dentistry.

“My practice has worked to serve children and entire families for decades, whether that means providing quality preventative care or restorative treatments,” Dr. Laura said. “My biggest goal is help patients keep their teeth healthy forever.”

Dr. Laura practices out of her home, which has been in the family for five generations. She offers all-composite fillings, crowns, bridges and teeth-whitening treatments and crafts beautiful dentures for patients missing some of their teeth or all of their teeth. Dr. Laura has convenient hours for busy families and working professionals and provides same-day emergency care.

Dr. Laura also provides porcelain veneers to change the color, shape or size of teeth. Veneers can be used to completely remake a smile, or to cosmetically enhance one or multiple cracked, chipped or discolored teeth. Veneers can also be used as a substitute for orthodontic treatment – straightening teeth to perfection almost instantly. Dr. Laura’s background in design allows her to be especially artful when designing a new smile.

Dr. Laura earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in fashion design from Parsons School of Design – where she was named to the dean’s list – and then graduated cum laude from State University of New York Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She has completed continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry and root canals.

Dr. Laura is a member of the American Dental Association and New York State Dental Association. Dr. Laura is heavily involved in community service. She serves as a lay ecclesial minister and annually supports the local hospice facility Francis House.

Dr. Laura’s office is open Monday to Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m
